Hello! We are Save Cape Romain, LLC.....A group of concerned citizens of Awendaw have met and have joined together and formed Save Cape Romain! We are united in our opposition to the Bull Island Development of more than 340 homes on Bull Island Road. Bull Island Road is in between Cape Romain Maine National Wildlife Refuge and Francis Marion National Forest. This is just the start of projects like this to remove land that needs to be preserved throughout our coastline. If we allow this type of development the refuge and its wildlife will suffer over the years. The environmental impact is great and detrimental to our area.

We are building a fund to help fight the development now and in the future. The funds will be used in many ways; legal, grassroots educational efforts and driving change to protect our refuge and wetlands now and in the future. 

 

Lets not give big builders a hold on our beautiful communities for the sake of profit!
