Let's Resurrect the Boulder Valley Velodrome!

That's the plan but we need your help. Team Colorado Cycling, a CO non-profit, has taken the reins from new owners BVV Holdings to revitalize the velodrome to its former glory and move forward beyond your expectations.
Restorations are already underway, and as you can imagine the list of repairs is long and expensive. We have hired contractors and ordered materials and Sherwin-Williams will provide our final surface. We now need the community's time and money so that we can open full-time with weekly racing and community events in early summer. The BVV is a landmark in Erie where we plan to host community events throughout the summer, including movie nights and concerts, festivals, and fun activities for families of all ages.
A quick summary of what we are trying to accomplish between now and opening day with the money from this GoFundMe.
- Strip the entire track surface and apron
- Board-by-board repair or replacement of the entire track
- Caulk, seal, and paint the track surface
- Mud jack (raise) four sections of concrete that have settled
- Paint the entire structure including, supports, vertical boards, concrete, and fencing
- Landscaping and general cleanup
- Track bike fleet tuning and repair
- New rider lounge area in the bunker
- New rider stretching and workout area in the bunker
