Who we are?
We, the Batticaloa Underprivileged Development Society (BUDS UK – budsuk.org), a registered charity in the United Kingdom (Reg # 1081305) actively operating over 33 years from UK by providing various support to the families in eastern province of Sri Lanka to develop their living standard and education.
The impact caused by the Easter Sunday Blast:
Below are the pictures of the moment these children were playing and singing happily, then the next minute they were horrified, this massacre has claimed lot of innocent lives – such as spouses lost their other halves, children lost their parents, parents lost their loving children also many people lost their limbs and received irreversible injuries.

Fundraising for?
Following the Easter Sunday atrocity, we are actively working to identify the affected people to help them rebuild their lives. Even though our main agenda is to help people from Eastern province of Sri Lanka where one of the explosions occurred, we are widening our horizon and working to help victims from all areas of Sri Lanka.
Please join us in helping the families of those who have lost their lives and those who have received life changing injuries as a result of ‘Easter Sunday Massacre’ in Sri Lanka.
Your donation:
We need your help and kindly requesting you to HELP us to rebuild these affected children and their family’s lives. We’ll be using this fund directly to the victims of the Easter Sunday carnage by identifying their life changing injuries and providing a SUITABLE assistance to move on in their lives.
This assistances can be allocating a fund for the families require special emergency medical treatments (such as children recovering from burn wounds or post-traumatic stress ) or by providing a sum for the identified affected children and opening up bank accounts in their name to deposit some money for their education, this will enable and help in a long term educational purpose, or even providing wheel chair for the ones affected with permanent injuries to ensure whatever reason, that does not interrupt their education.
As an actively involved charity we will continuously be engaged in improving the victim’s day to day life to help them reconcile and move on.
By contributing a small amount to take part in this campaign, every one of you are helping directly in these affected lives’ rehabilitations and their future betterment, also showing them, THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD! life isn't ends here, Time to MOVE ON…
