Time to rebuild after Ida's destruction!
I have started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the First Aid and Rescue Squad Inc. of Somerville NJ. Any donation will help make an impact to replace destroyed equipment, replace medical supplies and restore the use of the first floor. As a result of the flooding, the building had between 5-7 feet of water (see video). The damage was extensive. Please help this all important non-profit organization get back on our feet again. We continue to respond to calls by utilizing another local squad building until we can access our station.

The First Aid and Rescue Squad Inc. of Somerville NJ was founded in 1928, the Somerville Rescue Squad has provided the citizens of Somerville, Somerset County, and Central New Jersey with exemplary, VOLUNTEER, emergency medical and rescue services, 365 days a year. As the oldest inland rescue squad in New Jersey and one of the oldest VOLUNTEER emergency medical service organizations in the United States we have a proud tradition of service to citizens, businesses, and government that call Somerville and Raritan home.
