Let’s help Natalie help Harry!

Hello - I’m Victoria and I’ve put this page together to raise funds to help the brilliant Natalie give her fabulous horse, Harry, the very best chance.

Natalie is an equine vet with her own sole trader practice in Hampshire. She puts her horses and her clients’ horses before everything else and has found herself in a position where her horse who she’s owned for 19 years is in desperate need of some very costly veterinary attention at a equine hospital.

Natalie was prepared to sell various pieces of equipment and make sacrifices to scrape together the funds for the next round of treatment. The coffers are seriously depleted due to getting him this far. I personally feel that Natalie gives so much to so many, including her Facebook followers that it’s our turn to give something back. She offers so much value in horsemanship, veterinary care and humour that I feel we can come together to support her. She didn’t want to do this herself, which I totally get, so I offered to do it for her.

Here is a bit of background information from Natalie:

“Together we Evented up to Advanced level, and he was often at the National Dressage Championships up to Advanced Medium level.

In 2011, whilst pathfinders for the British team at the 3* European Championships, he suffered an 85% rupture of his tendon in his front leg. He battled through and after two years, I got back on him again. He went on to yet again qualify for the National Dressage Championships.

Since then he has survived a severe bout of laminitis, a previous infected front pedal bone, and a ruptured hind tendon.

This will be our third and final attempt at overcoming a severe pedal bone infection in his hind foot, that we’ve been battling for 6 months. He is bright in himself, and my dad has hand grazed him every day for over 6 months now, so he never gets stuck in his stable x”

If you can spare any money, however little, all contributions will make a massive difference to this veteran who deserves this last chance.
