Hello family and friends,
Amber here! I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my beautiful Mother Laurelle, or as most of you refer to her as 'Ms Note'. For those of you who don't know Mum's full story, here is a brief description. When I was 5 years old, Relly was diagnosed with a vicious form of breast cancer which was an extremely lucky find, as her very clever doctor decided to take a chance and perform surgery on Rel even after scans showed no sign of any tumour. For most of my primary schooling life, I had known my mother to be in and out of hospitals and watched her continously battle this disease, as well as remind her daily to "put your hair on". Since the years have passed Mum had been taking medication for a solid 5 years to insure there would be no return of the cancer cells. Right? Wrong. It has now marked 1 year since the horrifying day I discovered the return of this horrible devil, that has now latched itself to Ms Note's spinal cord and is now cancer of the bone. Never in my life have I ever imagined this kind of heart break nor have I ever thought I would ever ask for assistance from fellow family and friends. My Mother would never let me do this, nor would she ever ask for fundraising as I believe she lives her life in such a humble way, hence why I would like to keep this secret. Mum has her good days and she definitely has her bad, and in saying this, when the days are bad it makes it extremely difficult for her to work. She has had to cut back on doing the thing she loves most (teaching music to her beloved students) because of the aches and pains of having a cancer riddled body. In saying all of this, her being able to single handedly afford her surgeries and treatments is very strenuous and makes money tight. She has a massive five thousand dollar treatment bill coming up and I would really love to help her out to create one less burden in her life. I love this woman as I know many do, I would honestly do anything in my power to help her and if you are reading this, please know that any contribution you do make to this cause will not go unappreciated. I thank you in advance for your time, kind wishes and love that is sent to my darling Mother.
