Supporting Milo with his recovery

Milo went missing on the 30th March, he got hit on the leg by an ice cream van, which really shocked Milo into running off and become lost. After 17 days a group of us searching day and night for Milo, tonight we finally found him, there were tears of joy from all as he came slowly walking out the bush towards his mum. Straight away we have taken Milo to an emergency vet as his leg is so sore and the bone is clearly seen, he is such a strong boy who’s must have been so scared all this time. 

*update* The care costs for Milo for the first night was extortionate due to needing to go to an out of hours veterinary. After yet another sedation today (17/4), it’s apparent that Milo is anaemic also. We’re now aware that Milo will have his leg amputated in the coming week due to the severity of his leg injuries. The funds raised will support Milo’s journey upto today and to having the amputation and building his health again. 

I am already extremely overwhelmed for all the well wishes and support for Milo that he’s already received, if you would like to support him it would very gratefully received and help tremendously in his recovery. 

Everyone just wants to see Milo running down the fields again.
