Lets Help Kaylee Get To Japan!

Hello everyone. Recently my daughter Kaylee was offered an amazing opportunity to travel to Japan to further her education in photography. Of course with this great opportunity comes a cost... A cost that can be somewhat difficult with the timing and when supporting for a family of five. I would be extremely bummed for Kaylee to miss out on this once in a lifetime experience. "Throughout my school career, I would have never imagined studying abroad would be a chance I would take. My name is Kaylee Hales. I graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in 2017 and am now attending Arapahoe Community College enrolled in the Commercial Photography Program. In high school, I practically lived in the art department: Drawing and Painting with Mr. Garland, Ceramics with Mr. Worthington, AP Drawing and Painting with Mr. Roberts and Film/Digital to AP Photography with Mr. Chimento. As many of you know, I am the daughter of a professional photographer, Mr. Don Hales. Art has always been a love of mine and I get the taste and passion from my dad. Without him and Mr. Chimento showing me the art of photography, I wouldn’t be where I am today, majoring in photography. I completed my AP Photography course with a 5 on my portfolio (for those who may be unaware, that is the highest score received on an AP test). Majoring in photography is the most exciting thing I could be doing with my life at the moment; my dad, however, has mixed emotions. He believes it is a very tough business and it’s not easy to build. Building a business isn’t meant to be easy, but it is a task I am more than willing to put the effort in. Personally, I think he’s a little worried I’m going to run him out of his business, which is most definitely the goal. Recently, I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Japan for photography. The total charges for this trip is $4,145.00. The duration of this trip is June 11th-22nd and I will not only be granted this experience, but also an entire semester’s worth of college credits. This trip is the opportunity of a lifetime, and while I work hard to pay my tuition, this trip is above and beyond my capabilities to fund alone. Therefore, I am asking for any donation you can afford to help me realize this goal. Thank you so much to any and everyone who parts in this opportunity."
