Let’s help Edmonton’s restaurant employees

We are seeking help from people who believe in and cherish the Edmonton food scene. We need to support the people who keep our restaurants running day-to-day. Because without them, we wouldn't have the fantastic restaurants that we do. We understand the importance of supporting those who already sacrifice so much. There have been thousands of layoffs already in Edmonton; although the government is stepping up and provide emergency relief, it isn't quite enough. EI, alone, cannot support many people who have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

We are asking that you give a little to go directly to those affected. Every little bit helps.

We, as a group, are committing to split every dollar raised equally between all restaurant/bar workers that have signed up externally regardless of position or title. This means it doesn't matter if you were the head chef, dishwasher, busser, or CDC. All are included. After this campaign, we will provide a public statement showing the amount paid out to those affected. It is all we can do in a time like this.
