Oxygen for Erin

“Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts. Whenever your mind becomes scattered,  you use your breath as the means to take hold of your mind again."
But what if you couldn't take that breath? If raising your chest to continue to fight was all the energy you could possibly muster in a day? 
We take each breath for granted, smelling cookies in the oven, the aroma after it rains, we forget how precious those moments actually are when we can not do them any longer.
 My best friend, My soul mate Erin Houle, is not afforded the same luxuries anymore that we take for granted every day. 



Erin has Cystic Fibrosis which a lung condition that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breath over time, restricts the airways and traps bacteria leading to infections, extensive lung damage, and eventually, respiratory failure. Erin will eventually be on a transplant list for new lungs. Erin eats a vegan diet, is constantly observing her health, and when you are sick like she is it weighs heavy on the spirit. 


There is a device available that will concentrate her oxygen and give her more mobility and movement while strengthening her spirit. This machine doesn't need to be filled or replaced, just charged! I think that is so awesome!
Obviously, she doesn't want assistance from anyone! (Well, maybe her insurance company who won't extend a helping hand*assholes*)
