Let’s Get Mount Sion Choir to the USA in 2020

The Mount Sion Choir are a choir based in a small, all boys, secondary school in the heart of Waterford City, Ireland. This choir was set up seven years ago to encourage students to stay in school and to give them somewhere to express themselves musically. It has transformed the lives of the young people involved. 

Over the years, the choir have brought incredible joy and hope to people across the world. A recording of Christopher Halligan and Jess Reinl singing Shallow at our Christmas concert went viral across the world and has been seen 100 million times on Facebook alone and many millions of other times on other social media platforms. This song has enabled us to bring the message of hope and love to people everywhere.

We hope to travel to the USA in summer 2020; this would be a dream come true for us and a chance to meet all our new friends in America. There is a mountain of fundraising ahead of us but we are determined to make this dream a reality. We would be eternally grateful for any contribution you could make; all monies raised will go directly towards transport for the trip.

We have a busy summer ahead singing and fundraising but we will being you along our journey too. We would be nowhere without the support of our community, city and new worldwide friends
