Michelle Cadman was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 1999, which she fought off with chemotherapy and a mastectomy of her right breast. Michelle recovered and was living life with new vigour raising her young family when, sadly, her mother got lung cancer and after beating it once, her mother's cancer returned and unfortunately her beautiful mum lost her fight.
In 2011 Michelle was diagnosed again with breast cancer but this time in the left breast. She endured yet another operation and radiation therapy and , again, with her determination and positiveness she got back into life and was feeling great when during a routine scan in 2013 another cancer was found in her chest wall. She had to endure another 6 months of chemo followed by radiationtherapy and more surgery, but , its doesn't end there unfortunately. In 2016 another tumour was found in Michelle's chest wall which was treated with a horrible drug with side effects , so she has been given another way to keep cancer at bay ,she is currently being treated for with 3 injections that are given monthly, which cost $700 each - there is no help from medicare or a private health fund. As a consequence of all these medical expenses and loss of working hours. Michelle had already sold her house to pay for expenses years ago.
Those that know Michelle well, know what a beautiful person she is and how hard she works to make ends meet. Michelle works at the local medical centre 6 days per week with both her and her hubby working long hours to pay the bills and rent. Following from the current treatment Michelle is receiving she has also been advised to consider attending a course facilitated by a immuno biologist with years of experience in the treatment of cancer.
