LET’S FUEL OUR HEROES!
Kindly share with any friends and organizations that may want to contribute to easing the burden of our front line health workers.
We are raising funds to pay for lunches for our health care front line workers who are currently our heroes. Every day they are in the middle of being the solution for COVID-19.
We have teamed up with What-a-Bagel, a local business, who will be preparing generously sized bagel sandwiches with vegetables and 1 protein.
Our goal is dual purpose. We want to not only support and show appreciation to our front line health care staff, but to also support local businesses.
1. What-a-Bagel is compliant with Toronto’s Dine Safe program and has received a pass (green) with an inspection by Toronto Public Health on record
2. Food will be "unit dosed"/single-portioned meals for one Health Care Worker.
3. Food will be distributed for consumption as close to delivery as possible. Hot food needs to remain hot (min 60C) and cold food cold (4C or less).
With your support... We will start with fueling St. Michael’s Hospital’s Heroes with 100 meals a day. If we raise enough, we will support other hospitals.
For every dollar raised will be matched by a donor.
We realize it is a very difficult time for everyone, and for some it is very difficult financially.
If you are able, we are only asking for an $18 donation, and if shared widely enough, this will make a huge impact!
