Let’s Extend Celine’s Life: 3-year-old diagnosed with polymicrogyria

The unexpected and devastating news; no parent wants to hear. Dreams of a happy and healthy childhood shattered, in a blink of an eye.

Late June of 2023, 3-year-old Celine was diagnosed with polymicrogyria. The right side of her brain did not develop properly and she suffers with half a dozen seizures per day! Her speech is deteriorating. Celine is scheduled to undergo major testing in London with a team of surgeons to determine which surgery would be most successful in saving the left side of her brain. Celine has a long road ahead of her, as she will be required to learn how to sit, walk, talk, and eat, all over again post-surgery.

All of this has taken a toll on the family; financially, mentally and emotionally. Overwhelmed parents, Rob and Adrienne, have been taking care of Celine around the clock, as well as caring for their other two children. This has resulted in a substantial decrease in earnings, as they were required to shift their time and focus from employment to pressing medical concerns.

Goal is $10,000.

These funds would be used for travelling (Wallaceburg to London), food, lodging, and missed wages. In addition to monetary donations, prayers are also greatly appreciated.

Celine’s mom, Adrienne expressed, “Never as a family, did we expect this, especially a three-year-old!”

Despite this difficult news and these challenging times, Rob and Adrienne do their best to remain strong to care for Celine and her siblings.
