Tasha Turner: a daughter, mother, sister, best friend, and now Hero. Tasha lived everyday for her family and friends inspiring and touching everyone she crossed paths with. Whether you grew up with her or you only met her once, she inspired and lifted you to always be better. Lighting up every room she walked into, her contagious laugh brought joy to everyone's hearts.
On Saturday, August fifth, Tasha was involved in a tragic boating accident in the Colorado River, Big River Park.
Being surprised for her birthday, her boyfriend Nawras, planned a last minute trip for her friends and family. Getting on the boat, he only had one thing in mind, a proposal. Tragically, the boat lost power and began to sink. With complete selflessness, she saved her boyfriend who couldn't swim and her daughter Genesis before sinking with the boat. She is survived by her daughter who is eight years old.
My name is Nawras and I created this account to raise money for her daughter Genesis. Myesha Turner, Tasha’s older sister, will be in charge of handleing the money and making sure that Genesis has everything she needs.
