Let's win Jerry's war with cancer

Jerry Hernandez's story began in April of 2017 when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric-esophageal adenocarcinoma.  Although the diagnosis was terrible, his  prayer, from day one, has been for God’s will to be done and not once has he asked “why him?”.  Since that fateful day, he and his family have been battling cancer,  together.

He has been through several rounds of chemotherapy as well as one round of radiation.  Through it all his faith has remained strong and unwavering.  He has made 2 trips to M.D. Anderson in Houston and is leaving Wednesday, August 15, 2018 for his third trip.  His family is asking for prayers.  Throughout his fight he has kept an amazing outlook and works very hard to make sure everyone around him is taken care of in every way.  His fortitude is amazing and most days he does it with a smile.

The Hernandez Family already has accumulated a debt of over $30,000.  And their battle has just begun.  That includes chemotherapy, the high deductibles, medications, scans, trips, doctor’s visits, radiation, everything associated with fighting this terrible disease.   

Jerry is one of the most faithful and amazing souls you will ever meet.    Please bless this family in any way you can to help them through this difficult time.
