Let's Rock ALS
Tax deductible
Let's ROCK this thing called ALS. Calling all those who CARE, BELIEVE in HOPE and MIRACLES. Your support can help bring awareness to a disease that currently has no cure.
The evening will be full of original music from Jenn Palmer, Anthony Adams, Dawn Loves Nash, Morgan Myles local artists who have donated their time and music to helping others with this cause.
Meet and greet with a very special Guest / Host - Irlene Mandrell, a Texas native and the youngest of the world famous Mandrell Sisters, holds her star on the Country Music Walkway of Stars. Irlene has received numerous awards including two Music City News Comedy Act of the Year awards and most recently received the NACMAI Award. Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters aired on NBC and in the UK, with over 40 million viewers. Throughout her exciting career, Irlene appeared on numerous television shows and starred in the Country variety series Hee Haw with Roy Clark and Buck Owens for the last eight years. Irlene is currently working on an inspirational book focused on her family, and just released a patriotic album, titled Thanks To You, on Reviver Records, dedicated to those who serve our country many of whom are now affected by ALS.
All proceeds go to ALS of TN an organization whose main mission is to support families living with the struggles for Lou Gherig's disease / ALS. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord leaving many unable to walk, talk or even care for themselves without 24/7 care. Insurance unfortunately does not always cover caregivers and sophisticated equipment needed. Families spend thousands a month to an average of 200,000 a year just to keep the care going. The ALS Assoc of Tennessee is a rock for the families living with ALS and go out of their way to help provide support and resources. Without their help this journey would be so much harder and next to impossible.
Be prepared to bid on some great items at the cash silent auction which opens at 6pm and will close at 9:45pm. If you wish to donate and will not be able to make the event please feel free to buy a ticket or two or donate to our GO FUND ME at this link. https://www.gofundme.com/f/let039s-rock-als
