My name is Gulmakai Saleh and I am the founder and creative director of “The Golden Tree of Goodness,” where we teach people to be heroes to themselves and to their communities. Our website, www.Gulmakai.com , is home to resources and opportunities to connect with us. We have launched videos and developed program presentations for children and adults. I have authored two children’s books, “The Goodness Soup” and “Princess Diversity and the Golden Rule,” both of which share the organization’s goals. We also employ social media, hosting a Facebook Live webcast which focuses on a holistic approach to promoting goodness among humanity. The Golden Tree of Goodness is in the early phases of a research project titled “The Power of Understanding.”
To promote goodness, one needs to first lay out the foundation for others to tread the path towards goodness. This is done by creating an environment where understanding and empathy can exist. I posit that one of the reasons for endemic hate in the world is lack of understanding. We do not take the time or care to understand each other. I would like to change people’s outlook and approach to themselves and their surroundings, and in doing so, help eliminate racism, prejudice, and biases. In gaining an understanding of the self and others, we learn that people want to be understood, and we can all live by the Golden Rule. I have done this as a writer, by providing workshops, and with the creative use of social media.
Goodness is promoted by laying the foundation for travelers to make a path towards it. This foundation derives from cognizance and empathy. You can be part of this initiative by helping us sustain the finical cost that comes with running this organization.
Your donation will help in the following areas:
1. Keeping the website up to date with resourceful resources and maintaining the cost of running the website.
2. Doing low-cost marketing on social media.
3. Giving some books for free to non-profit organizations.
4. Giving my services for free or at a low cost to those communities are low on financial means.
Your donation will help me give more of my service to the public for free or at a low cost. Many children, parents, teachers, and other non-profit organizations are benefiting from the services that I have been providing. Let's not let this end because of the cost that it is causing me.
Some people have the time, others have the skills, and some have the financial means. I am providing my time and skills but unfortunately, do not have the financial means to keep doing what I am doing to help the communities around me.
