UPDATE - The family plans a funeral for Lorna in a few weeks at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Montezuma. They hope that Nick will be able to attend.

Rich plans to return to work as superintendent in Adams County, but is currently still helping take care of Nick.
UPDATE - A heartbreaking turn of events - Lorna died from her injuries. Please continue to pray for Rich and their children as they navigate this terrible situation and face a future without their wife and mother. Lorna was a stay-at-home mom to their 11 kids, a devout Catholic and an accomplished runner.
As you might know by now, our friend, Rich Seas, was in a terrible car accident Saturday with his wife, Lorna, and young son, Nick. Rich had a serious concussion but has been released from the hospital and is now trying to heal while standing by his wife and 12-year-old. Nick had surgery for a severe back injury. Lorna's condition has not changed; she remains critical. Lorna and Nick sat on the side of the van where the truck T-boned them while they were on their way to a track meet.
We all know what medical care costs. The bills are already mounting and will continue to do so during what will be a very long recovery. We have known Rich - he's superintendent now in Adams County, east of Cincinnati - since we were kids.
As we continue to pray for comfort and peace, we also want to help Rich focus on getting healthy again and taking care of his family, rather than on financial concerns. Every little bit truly will help. Thank you. (Go Roughriders.)
