Let's Help Lorette Recover From Hurricane Laura!
Donation protected
As many of you know, our friend and colleague Lorette Bass experienced a severe hit to her house from Hurricane Laura. Her roof was destroyed and parts of her house damaged, making it unlivable.
Any and all donations to help her offset this unfortunate event would surely be met with appreciation. As we know, Lorette would be there to help us through this if roles were reversed. Let's combine our forces and make a positive impact for her and her family during this time of need!!
We hope to present this to Lorette by September 11! She does not know about this effort.
PS-Lorette traveled home to Lake Charles to witness the damage on the 29th. A quote from an email from her the next day, "As I sat in my back yard I became flooded with emotions and began to sob uncontrollably, yet still thanking God for all of the favor he showered upon us. As I looked up in dismay a pack of skunks, a donkey and a goat ran across my back yard. I don’t know where they came from or where they were going, but it is at that moment that I knew things would eventually get back to normal."
Please consider helping with this unfortunate tragedy. Being without a home is unimaginable. No donation is too small, and would be a blessing to Lorette and her family.
