This is my friend, Jenny. She is my oldest (since 2nd grade!) and best friend (BFF for life!) and we need your help! In the interest of protecting her privacy, I will share with you only a generalized explanation of what plagues her...
A number of years ago, it was discovered that my bestie has a condition with her eyes that caused vertigo-like symptoms, but it could be easily managed with a contact lense. Unfortunately (too put it mildly), she was first misdiagnosed and ill-perscribed a medication which has ultimately robbed her of so many good years. After taking this medication for what we now know was far too long at and too high of a dose, her doctors also tapered her off much too quickly. As a result, she now suffers with both physical and psychological symptoms for which we have yet to discover a cure.
This battle has been a long and dwindling one and a complete roller coaster ride for her and all of those who care for her. Over the few years, she has been unable to keep a steady job so of course her income has suffered. With the help from family and what she thankfully had in savings, she has been able to stay afloat, but this has only carried her so far. With the ever-increasing stack of medical bills, it is getting more difficult and nearly impossible to manage. In addition to her medical bills, she also has her mortgage and her day-to-day expenses to figure out. She is close to having to make the decision to leave her home.
We all have something we can offer her; whether it be a simple "share", a financial donation or your thoughts and prayers. If you hear our plea, I ask that you please help. Every bit of what you can offer, would be appreciated more than you could ever know.
