Let us Support SCOTT SIMONS' Cancer Battle

UPDATE: Scott's surgery will be on June 6th.

Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to everyone to ask for your support for my boyfriend, SCOTT SIMONS, who is courageously battling rectal cancer FOR THE SECOND TIME. Since May 2021, Scott has faced this formidable opponent head-on, beating it once already with unwavering determination. The attached photo shows his pride as he went back to work after a two-year hiatus following his initial diagnosis. But just when things seemed to be getting better, our joy was short-lived as a routine check-up in August 2023 revealed the devastating news of the cancer's return. As his resources were depleted from his first battle, Scott continued to work despite feeling sick from chemotherapy. But it wasn’t enough as he frequently missed work. He even sold some of his things to get by. Despite his situation, Scott is unwilling to seek help from others. This speaks volumes about his character. He’s always been the first to help others, never asking for anything in return. But now, FACED WITH ANOTHER LIFE-ALTERING SURGERY, he finds himself unable to work against his will.

So, we are initiating this GoFundMe campaign to show him that it’s okay to accept help especially from those who care about him deeply. He needs to know that he is not alone in this fight and that there are many people who love and appreciate him, willing to support him in any way they can. Your contributions, no matter the amount, will not only alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses but also serve as a testament that in times of adversity, it is through unity and compassion that we find solace and strength, that when times are tough, we're stronger together.
