We are reaching out to you to be a part of a vision that we have and to help us fulfill the purpose that God has put in our hearts. We will use this fund through the Church to spread the gospel, reach out to and support our community.
“Why would God go to so much trouble if everything comes to nothing?”
At some point in our lives we all have asked similar questions or felt that there is a higher purpose for our lives than just birth, life, and death. Somehow, we all understand that there is an inner drive “God’s original intention” that guides us in fulfilling our purpose.
We all have the big picture which is; God created us to live in this earth for a limited time. In that limited time we are to make something of ourselves; however, the details get blurry. Often times with this idea, questions arise. Who am I really? Why was I created? What is that “something” I’m supposed to make of myself? And how could I even begin to search for the answers while I’m surrounded by this world’s problems, noise, and chaos?
All these questions are answered when we get close to God. One Sunday evening, we walked into a church we had never been to before for a conference and in search of some comfort and peace of mind. What we gained was much more than a conference, we felt God’s presence, comfort and overwhelming love. We begun to feel a hunger for more, so we kept going. Our minds and hearts were opened to the truth, it was a start of a new chapter. We witnessed God’s glory and divine power imparted into us through him.
The answers were right in front of us, all we had to do was access our Bible and get close to our creator who gave us the authority to call him Father. For we all are HIS CHILDREN whom he created in his image (Genesis 1:27). This higher purpose that was stirring in our hearts got stronger by this knowledge of that we are His children and that we ought to live imitating Him (Ephesians 5:1-2). Through Him, NO ONE is condemned by sin but free by the blood of Jesus. And He poured out His greatness, kindness, mercy, and abundant generosity which has no limit nor handpicked.
Being empowered by God’s presence and His truth, we felt like we can accomplish our purpose that God has for us in the Church. The purpose being first, through the teaching that many more will acknowledge and be empowered by the truth (Hosea 4:6). And second, to be God’s hands and feet by reaching out to our surrounding community through our Church and helping those in need.
We know that God has planted the same desire in you and you have the privilege to serve Him in someway. Through our day to day life, intentionally or not, we all are involved in fulfilling God’s purpose. Whether it is raising your children-His creation, honoring God’s gift -knowledge, expertise and abilities in our day to day jobs, or being there for others in their time of need.
We are asking you to take another step in glorifying God by partnering with us and supporting our vision with your contribution.
