Les Vineyard with Unexpected Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Lisa, Les's wife. Most of you know but some may not. On March 1, 2024, around 1:30am Les starting experiencing symptoms of what he thought was a tootache that starting radiating down into his arm. He had, had these "toothache" type pains but never radiating into the arm. Went with directly to the ER at UTMCK. Upon arrival it was found that he had a heart attack. He was rushed to the Cath Lab & found to have 3 blockages in the main arteries. He was then sent directly to the O.R. and was found to have 4 blockages. While in surgery he had an epidose of V tach (irregular heart rhythm) and they placed in a Aortic Balloon pump to help with blood flow to his aorta. After 4 days in the CVICU at UT he was moved to a regular room then 5 days later he got to come home. After being home for 3 days, he passed out and back to UTMC again to be admitted. While there once again he had the irregular heartbeat again. We are home now with a heart monitor that reads in real time to see if he has any more irregular heart rhythms.

Les cannot drive for a month and will be off work until 3 to 4 months if his recovery goes well and no more complications.

I am currently on disability to due injuries susustained in a MVA with several surgeries and complications. In March 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and received treatments for this and Thank God I am now cancer free. As with any cancer diagnosis I will go every 6 months for my check ups.

Since Les is self employed there is no money coming in for our monthly bills as I pay 1/2 our bills and he pays the other 1/2.

It breaks our hearts that I am even on a page like this requested donations to help us. I am so thankful that God let him live, as the MD's had stated if we had not gotten to the ER I would be planning a funeral.
