Hey everyone, I hope this message finds you well. Iam writing to bring to your attention about the wellness and Health situation of one of our colleagues and friend by the name Leonard Kiplagat. Leonard is a Business Student currently enrolled at Holmsglen University (Chadstone Campus) . A few weeks ago his General Health started deteriorating which saw him get admission into Monash hospital. The severity of his condition was attended by a Neurologist who diagnosed him with Multiple sclerosis
This came as a shock to all of us considering Leonard was full of life and good health prior to that period when he fell ill.
Leonard has been receiving treatment for close to a month now before he recently got discharged. He continues to recover at home . We give all honour and glory to God for his health progress.
However, this whole process is costly and his Overseas Health Insurance covered in hospital expenses while Monash hospital helped in paying for his Tysabri treatment for the next twelve months. Leonard needs to see a physiotherapist once every week for rehabilitation in his mobility . We have a financial goal of raising $15,000 to offset some medical expenses not covered by his insurance and his personal expenses considering he cannot go to work at the moment.We appeal with any individual/ organisations to chip in , in anyway whatsoever to assist in offsetting some of these expenses. Any amount of financial support will really be appreciated.
