Leona Morweh

My name is Becky and I’m a member of Quinsigamond United Methodist Church. I am raising money for our dear member and friend, Leona, who has suffered a major loss. She is currently homeless due to a fire at her home in Worcester, MA. Luckily, she was unharmed, but she managed to get out with only the clothes on her back and her pocket book. Most of her belongings have likely been ruined, and she will have to start over in finding a new place to live, items to furnish a new apartment, and even clothes to wear. We are asking for any help to cover the costs of these items, and to help Leona in her search for a new place to live.

Anyone who knows Leona will tell you how selfless of a person she is. She is an integral part of our church community and of her local community as well. She is a beautiful soul and always willing to help anyone in need, in any capacity she can. She loves to share her gift of cooking with local outreach programs and the church, and she enjoys sharing her love of singing with others as well. She’s a woman who would never ask for help, but as a church community and as her friends, we feel we need to do everything we can to help her get back on her feet.

Any money raised will be used solely for the purpose of buying clothes, furnishings, and to help with apartment applications, security deposits and/or rent for a new apartment.
