Lend Gizmo a Helping Paw!

Unfortunately, today, the love of my life, Gizmo darted outside and was hit by oncoming traffic on one of Tallahassee's busiest streets.

Thankfully (relatively speaking) he was only hit on his back hind leg. Unfortunately though, his tibulous has a "Spiral" break, and a bone behind the tibulous was broken in two places, resulting with a middle unattached bone. After taking him to the vet, he will need surgery to have a functioning leg again. 

However, the surgery (+ the inital Xrays, vet costs, meds, etc) will cost around $3,000.They offer a 6-month payment plan, in which afterwards the interest skyrockets. Something that I cannot realistically afford.

Option B would be to amputate the back hind paw, at a generally lower cost of $1,300. Gizmo loves to run, chase squirrells, jump and play so much that Option B would be something I would absolutely with all my heart, hate to do. 

So somebody suggested for me to try and make this and I figured I would give it a shot.

Any amount to save Gizmo's leg, would greatly be appreciated by both Gizmo and I. He is the light in my life, and I would hate to take away his simple joys in his life.
