In Support of Len Guillermo’s Family

Donation protected
Our dear friend Len, passed away in an unforeseen manner that no one could ever imagine. On the 4th of December, her family (husband and daughter) flew to Finland to be reunited with her, dreaming of celebrating white Christmas and starting new life together. Upon the family's arrival at the airport, she couldn't contain her excitement, rushed towards them to embrace and hug their daughter, Aishleen. However, moments later, she collapsed and lost consciousness, according to our friend Anton. Airport medics swiftly responded, attempting to revive her, but despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead an hour later, succumbing to brain anuerysm. The supposed to be joyous reunion and welcoming turned into profound agony at that very moment.

Len devoted her life to nursing. She made the difficult decision to fly to Finland a year ago to pursue opportunities and care for others, all while separated from her family in the Philippines. Her daughter Aishleen, only three years old at the time, remained behind. Len had ambitious dreams and made sacrifices. She worked tirelessly to be reunited with her family and had a desire to provide them with a better life in Finland. She was not only a dedicated nurse but also a remarkable mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and colleague, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched.

Her sudden death has left us all devastated and the family were unprepared for such a tragedy, including the high cost of the funeral service. In response to their heartfelt request, her family in the Philippines wishes for her remains to be sent back home, providing them with the last chance to see her and bid their final goodbyes.

We are seeking donations to support Len's family in covering funeral expenses and adapting to their new life as migrants in an unfamiliar place. Your contributions will help them make ends meet during this challenging time. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help her family during this difficult time. Your support through donations would mean a lot.

Thank you so much.
