LeMoyne-Owen National Alumni Bahamas Relief Fund

This campaign is being sponsored by the Lemoyne-Owen College National Alumni Association, the Jerry C. Johnson Foundation and the Men's Basketball team here at the college. 

I have spoken with many of you about the following LeMoyne-Owen College Alumnus who have been negatively impacted by hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas:

Shandera Gardiner

Lenor Adderly

Sergio Storr

Asheka Culmer

Karen Barr

Ariel Fox

Unfortunately, I do not know the status of all of the Alumnus at this time but Shandera Gardiner and her family have lost their house and all of their belongings.  

Ms. Gardiner has reached out through Facebook and personally to faculty members and myself asking us to do whatever we can to help them during this very tragic time.

Therefore, I am asking each one of you to help the Men's Basketball team here at LeMoyne-Owen College raise funds for these individuals and their families.   

We have set-up a GoFund Me account (LeMoyne-Owen College Bahamas Relief Fund) and people can donate funds to this account to help our alumni.  

Our goal is to raise $30,000 ($5,000 for each alumnus)
