Who Are We
The Wat Buddhapradeep Thai Cultural Center and Temple was founded in 1994 for the purposes of Buddhist study, meditation and preserving the Thai arts and culture through education and awareness for the community of all ethnicity and beliefs. We strive to enrich the environment and its communities through youth academic scholarships, food assistance, multicultural awareness, mentorship, spiritual guidance, community gatherings.
What We Do
Every year, we host the Thai Cultural Day Festival which includes craft and headdress displays, Ram Thai (classical and folk dancing), live music on traditional instruments, shadow puppets, Kohn (masked) theatre, Muay Thai, traditional painting, and fruit carving demonstrations.
The Wat Buddhapradeep Thai Cultural Center and Temple is a place where Buddhists and non-Buddhists can meet and grow their knowledge and increase their focus on a way of life and living that leads to greater understanding and achievement of cultural diversity.
Where Does the Money Go to?
Each year, the temple takes its donations and use it towards bettering the community and our youth. Your act of kindness will go to support youth academic scholarships, food assistance, multicultural awareness, mentorship, spiritual guidance, community gatherings, and the completion of Vorasitthi Meditation Center located in Santa Cruz, CA amongst others.

Brothers and sisters of the temple are hosting a Muay Thai Legends event on October 26, 2019 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Partial proceeds will help us in our cause.
