Legal Fees to Collect Book Royalties

My name is John French aka "Drumbo" from Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band and later "The Magic Band." Sometime in the late nineties, I decided to write a truthful and informative book including interviews (23 if memory serves) mixed in with everything I could remember about my time working with Don Van Vliet aka "Captain Beefheart." It is an 864 page book that took me years to put together including quotes from many who worked with Don Van Vliet and his friend, Frank Zappa. I was approached by Proper Music Chairman (a UK-Based company), Malcolm Mills, with the idea to publish the book through a sub-publisher, Music Sales. It was released in 2010 in the U.K. I was told the book was the #1 Music Book in the UK that year. Since then, there have been 2 reprints, yet I have not received a single royalty payment since 2011. I am posting a fund-raiser to raise funds to hire a British Attorney to make inquiries as to the situation. It is not believable that a book that has gone into it's third printing has not generated any profit in the last 12 years. There have only been occasional Royalty Statements, and those always depicted the book as "in the red." The Photo shows all three printings from L to R -- about 5 years apart each.
