My friend and her mother were arrested on ridiculous charges after calling a non emergency line for help.
They have been given until tomorrow to prepare for court to fight multiple charges including Disorderly Conduct, Assault of a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Menacing. There is video evidence proving that these charges are excessive and false.
They have already had to pay $500 bail each to get out of incarceration, and are now seeking legal representation. They are going to need help with legal fees. $2000 won't cover it all I'm sure, but it's something.
