Hey brothers and sisters,
I had an amazing and healing time at ALTA., Utah . They run groups for helping male sex abuse survivors get the help they need .
It was so great to connect with so many of you and continue our friendships . My healing at ALTA , thankfully, prepared for the next major breakthrough in my process of surviving sexual abuse.
As I returned from UTAH feeling energetic and on a great path to healing , I Opened my email to some requests from New York Newspapers to share my story While doing my research for my timeline as a child. I saw a picture of one of my abusers . I had a major flashback and reverted to the child at the age the abuse occurred . Thank god my partner was here.
Its hard for me to reach out for help , especially being a survivor . I have been well off except for the past year, mainly dealing with flying to MAine and dealing with my nephews health.
I need help paying for personal attorney fees and therapy costs . Im in California and will need hotel so I can go through therapy with Mikele Rauch in Massachusetts.
When my story comes out on media and TV , I will have a "BIG WIG " pro bono attorney . BUT as a i survivor I also need to hire an attorney that will be some one to be my legal advocate and an emotional support . He can set what my boundaries I need as an abuser and the best steps to take legally.
I have already spent $1000 this week on legal fees . I now another bill for $1200 that just got paid by a private donation.
I know we are all struggling , ANYTHING you can do will help me out right now.
