Leg Prosthesis and Expenses

For the past 3 years I have been battleling with a disease called Charcot Neuroarthropathy that 1% of diabetics get from a minor injury such as a stress fracture that has been misdiagnosed as something else. There are surgical fixes for this disease but unfortunately I have an infection in the bone that will never heal. To get me walking again amputation of my right leg from under the knee down is necessary.  A leg prostesis can cost upwards to $50,000.00 .
