Lee Miller Transport Van

Calling all Gene Murphy football members, fans and those who know and love Lee Miller. We would like to invite you to partner with us to help bless our Titan brother. For those of you who didn't know, Lee was an All Conference Titan DB and in 1984 selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 9th round.
Lee was later diagnosed with ALS and has courageously battled over the last 6 years. In a recent visit with Lee and his family we had the opportunity to ask his mother and sister if there were "One Thing" Lee needed, what would it be? Without hesitation his mother and sister said how nice it would be to provide Lee with a way to transport him safely to get out of the house and experience the simple things we all take for granted-such as getting out of the house and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine, watching children play in the park, worshipping at church, visiting family and friends.
Soon after this meeting we endeavored to find a way to find a customized van to meet Lee's specific needs. We were blessed with a donated cargo van that needs significant upgrading and conversion for Lee's needs.
We'd also like to bless the family with:
1. A New wheel Chair for Lee
2. Everyday basic needs such as food and helping with medical bills
3. Assist in subsidizing Lee's ongoing physical therapy care givers needs
With the "Gofundme" goal of raising $20,000 you would be a part of bringing great joy, hope and strength to our dear Titan brother. Funds are needed immediately as we'd like to bless Lee and his family as soon as possible. Any amount that you feel led to give will help. No amount is too small or too large.
When visiting Lee and his family we always go with the intention of "lifting his spirits" and inevitably we are the ones who always leave being beyond blessed and encouraged. Lee demonstrates the values we all cherish: great and lasting faith, hope, love, kindness and Titan strength. You would never know he is the one who is dealing with this challenge-as we are the ones who are blessed just to be near him and know him. We would like to pay it forward and give our dear brother a fraction of the blessing he gives to us.
