Lee McKinney Prosthetic Arm Fund

Lee is 29yrs old. He is married and is father to a wonderful little 1yr old girl. Anyone who knows Lee will tell you what a cheerful positive young man he is, always at hand to help anyone with anything at anytime and of course have a 'craic' and a joke along the way. Surrounded by a wide circle of family and friends Lee's life was great.
Earlier this year, Things took a sudden change and Lee was diagnosed with cancer in his arm. Numerous attempts of surgery were unsuccessful and the only option to prevent the cancer from spreading was to have his arm amputated just below his shoulder. This is not a sad story and in Lee's own words "My life isn't over, it's just taken a turn in a different direction"
This is typical of Lee's attitude, always seeing the best in every situation. His attitude and determination as he learns to live his life in a different way has been an inspiration to us all and this is the exact reason why we have set up this page along with other fund raisers to help fund the cost of a prosthetic arm which ranges in cost from €15000 to €100000. Please do not feel you need to donate, we have just set up this page to facilitate  anyone who would like to use it.
