Cette année, le jour de la fête des mères, nous avons appris que notre mère était atteinte d’un cancer du poumon, stade 4… elle se bat depuis, jour et nuit. Du haut de ses 5 pieds 3 et ses 61 ans elle est une femme incroyable, si petite mais si forte, qui a tout donné pour nous, qui s’est sacrifié pour les autres et qui était très engagée avec son bénévolat auprès des ainés.
Malheureusement, nous avons appris hier que le cancer était trop agressif et que les traitements ne répondaient plus. Nous savons maintenant qu’il ne lui reste plus beaucoup de temps à vivre. Nous souhaitons être à son chevet le plus souvent possible car chaque instant compte.
Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas, ma mère et mon père sont un peu l’image même d’un couple inséparable; des cours de cuisine Thai qu’ils donnaient, à leurs voyages en sac-à-dos au Sri Lanka, ils passaient tout leur temps ensemble.
Je demande donc votre aide afin de nous aider à traverser cette terrible épreuve. Nous vous serions éternellement reconnaissant et chaque don sera un cadeau exceptionnel qui aiderait notre famille à continuer de rester à son chevet pour pleinement s’occuper d’elle. Les funérailles se feront en France pour qu'elle se repose près de sa mère , les dons nous permettront de tous y aller ensemble et de lui faire un au revoir digne d'une mère exceptionnelle.

Une famille qui s'aime beaucoup
This year, on Mother’s Day, we learned that our mom had a stage 4 lung cancer…. she has been fighting day and night ever since. From the top of her 5 feet 3 and 61 years old she is an amazing woman, so small but so strong, who gave everything for us, who sacrificed herself for others and who was very committed with her volunteering with the elders.
Unfortunately, we learned yesterday that the cancer was too aggressive, and the treatments were no longer responding. We now know that she does not have much time left with us. We want to be at her bedside as much as possible because every moment counts.
For those who do not know it, my mother and father are one of those soulmate couple ; from the Thai cooking classes they gave to their backpacking trip in Sri-Lanka, they spent all their time together.
I ask for your help to support us though these difficult times. We would be forever grateful, and each donation will be an exceptional gift that would help our family stay at her bedside to fully care for her. The donations will also contribute to the funerals which will be held in France where she will rest in peace next to her mother and the rest of her beloved family.
