Sara Mohr's Surgery at Mayo

This page was set up to help Sara and her family with the expenses that she will incur during her surgery (travel, hotel, food, medical expenses). Sara will be required to stay at Mayo for 1-2 weeks and will be off from work for 6-8 weeks. The logistics and financials are weighing heavily on Sara during this time as she is a single mom to 3 teenagers. Any support through prayer or financials will be greatly appreciated.
From Sara:
"In December, I met with a new cardiologist who is part of a team of physicians that have a special interest in my condition. It has been determined that I need to have a septal myectomy. This is an open heart surgery in which they will remove the thickened muscle in my heart. They will also be implanting a pacemaker/defibrillator. This will be performed at Mayo Clinic with a current surgery date of February 24th.
Recently, God brought this verse to mind. Psalm 139:13 ~ "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb." I find this so beautiful and comforting. I have been told by the medical professionals that this genetic heart disease I have appears to have started with me, a genetic mutation while I was developing in utero. God does not make mistakes. This is exactly how He wants me."
