L.C. Bowling Alley Massacre 30th Candlelight Vigil

We are coming together Las Cruces Strong on or around February 10th to celebrate the lives so tragically and senselessy taken that day, 30 years ago. Honor the brave survivors, and show our love and support for their families and friends.
Also we can hopefully bring in new tips to open new avenues of investigation and keep the spark of hope alive in this cold case. It takes only one brave soul to come forward. Justice delayed doesn't have to mean justice denied.
Our fundraising is to provide the necessary elements of the vigil, candles, lighters, holders, windscreens, permits and any other unforeseen expenses. We're also looking to make a permanent memorial to those we lost that dark day. Ideas including a mural, benches, a flagpole or the planting of trees.
We'd also like to pay for as much of the survivors and familes travel expenses and accommodations as possible. They have had endured so many years of pain and injustice unfairly withheld, we want to make coming to this event as easy as possible on them.
Any leftover funds will be used to create a memorial scholarship for high in the name of the victims at NMSU, especially the future forensic sciences, criminal justice and criminal psychology majors, furthering the higher education of generations of crime fighters to come after.
These victims so innocent, with their entire futures stolen from them, so callously and cruelly one beautiful February morning deserve to be remembered for many decades to come.
We'll also be creating a Wells Fargo Account for easier in person donations. That account should be open tomorrow (January 16th, 2020) Finger's crossed.
