Laying The Pharaoh To Rest

Donation protected
Tajae Marquise Martin affectionately known by his friends as LiL Tee but social media knew him as the Pharaoh he was for his fire lyrics n Lion persona.

Growing up in Oakland you see alot of bad things and even go through some bad things. Tajae (Pharaoh) grew up in the mayhem of these very streets and fought demons on a daily basis as he battled with his mental health. Watching him in everyday life or even hanging around with him you never would have known because he hid his pain and troubles with his goofiness, he made sure he stayed full of life always rappin and dancing around to the point where he had his own dance. Being in his presence you could feel the positive aura that emitted off of him and that just drew you to him.

Its heart wrenching to say but his demons got the best of him one early morning and overpowered him mentally, emotionally and physically which resulted in Tajae taking his own life something no one could ever have fathomed. Its traumatizing to lose a young black man with so much ambition, possessing the brightest soul you could ever encounter despite how dark his demons tried to make him seem, he had an enormously big heart for those he truly cared about.

He had his whole life ahead of him still and so much potential to be anything he wanted to be however that was not the most highs plan for him. His job here was done but he did not leave without making sure he made an imprint in every person's life he came across before he went to go get fitted for his wings.

Tajae (Pharaoh) was a fabulous husband and was excited about his newfound journey in the married life. He was the best brother he knew how to be annoying, protective, but most importantly he loved his sisters beyond words. He was also the loyalist friend a person could have just dont cross him; he was the BEST example of what we would consider a SOLID individual.

His passion for music and his effortless ability to be able to spit phenomenal metaphorical lyrics motivated him to want to become a Rap Artist. Tajae (Pharaoh) really had the lyrical ability to captivate any type of audience. This was a young man that could do anything; his goofiness gave him the ability to turn a bad situations into stand up comedy. He was highly intelligent and extremely advanced for his younger generation but the old soul that burned inside him made him the go to person of all his friends to get sound advice and help with solving their problems.

Tajae (Pharaoh) was a joy to be around and was loved by so many people yet he still felt alone. People who suffer with a mental illness tend to feel like that; the illness will manipulate your mind and emotions having you believing, thinking and feelings things that aren't necessarily true.

Mental Health is a REAL problem, Depression is a REAL disease and Suicide is something that REALLY happens. We must wake up and stop sleeping on our loved ones. We never know what others are enduring mentally and emotionally and the next day isn't promised to us. Reach out to your loved ones, spend time with them, talk with them, but most importantly shower them with love. Dont let petty things build wedges between you and your loved ones. We Must Stay Connected and raise awareness. Use Tajae's story to help save another family.

As we plan this homegoing for TaJae/Pharaoh we are asking for donations any amount of help will do nothing is too small or too big because everything helps. The proceeds to this fundraiser will be going towards any and all funeral expenses in order to send him home with dignity so he may REST IN PEACE.

We thank everyone in advance for your generosity and condolences in this ominous time.
