This fundraiser is on behalf of my good friends, the Lawton family, that lost their house in a fire on May 26th.
During an afternoon out, a neighbour noticed smoke coming from their house and decided to check in. At this point, the house had been almost completely engulfed in flames. The neighbour was able to kick the door down and get their two dogs, Bella and Kaliko safely out of the house. One of their cats, Cessna, is believed to have escaped, however has not been seen since. Sadly, their other beloved cat, Tindi, did not make it out.
The Lawton’s arrived to find their home completely gone. They are left with the clothes on their backs and what was able to be salvaged from the garage. They moved in one year ago in hopes of making new memories and starting a life in their forever home.
They are a selfless, loving and hard working family. They have two beautiful children that are now left without a home. A 5 year old daughter, and a 2 month old son. This fundraiser is to help get any essential and necessary items that they have lost and make this very difficult time more manageable.
Funds will be sent directly to the family and used for food, new clothing, toiletries, toys for the kids, baby items and furniture etc.
