Lauren's Camera Replacement Fund
It is extremely hard for me to admit when I'm struggling. Unfortunately, life has given me quite the challenge, and now I have to let my walls down, and show my struggles. Last night, my camera was stolen. Long story short, my camera was left unattended and I had bad judgement with trusting my surroundings(I have learned my lesson). I recently stopped working full time, so I could focus on my photography and ease into making photography my full time job. So here I am, with less than $25 to my name, part time job, and no camera. Everything I worked so hard for, gone.
This isn't going to stop me though. I am going to do everything in my power to get a new camera and lens. But this time, I know I can't do it alone. I'm still paying off the loan for my first camera, and unfortunately I don't have $3,000 just laying around. I'm not trying to get bigger and better equipment, I just want to replace exactly what I lost(Canon 6D and a 24-70mm lens). I'm not proud of having to do this, but I'm willing to admit that I'm desperate. I am looking to replace my gear as quickly as possible, as I have a business to keep running, and bands to support.
