Lauren's Battle with Brain Cancer

Lauren is 30 years old, a wife of 12 years to Ryan Whitehead, and mother to Ryan (10 years old) and Braylin (8 years old). She has been working as a phlebotomist and going to school while raising a family until she began to have headaches and dizziness a few months ago. She was found to have a large brain tumor called a glioblastoma. This is the most aggressive type of brain cancer and needs to be treated quickly and aggressively. She has been undergoing weekly proton therapy at MD Anderson with plans for surgery after treatments are complete.  She has been incredibly strong and continues to work full time during this difficult time however medical expenses have quickly accrued despite being medically insured. We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover out of pocket expenses for her treatment, upcoming surgery and hospitalization, as well as lost wages for herself and her husband so that she can focus on recovery, healing, and being with her family.  We ask for prayers for her healing and strength for her family during this difficult time.
