In Loving Memory of Laurencio Leon

We are tremendously sad and morally destroyed by the passing of our beloved father who was an exemplary husband and human being, Laurencio Leon. He was a great person who went out of his way to help others and always took care of his family. He migrated from Mexico in 1992 to Los Angeles California in search of a better life where he eventually met and married our mother, Ana; they had 2 children and raised us with all the love caring parents do; he taught us the merits of hard work and the value of respect. He also loved nature and animals. He loved taking us in long road trips, so we all could appreciate the beauty of other places and people. He added an additional member to the family a beautiful German Shepherd named Alpha who is 3 years old. Our father and Alpha became best friends and every day after work both of them took long and happy walks. 

The happiness we lived as a family for the past 24 years tumbled on April 2, 2024, when our father collapsed on a soccer field while directing a soccer practice. The cause of death is being investigated, but it appears to have been a massive heart attack as shared by all those who were at the scene. All this happened so fast and unexpected as he was a healthy 55-year-old male without any prior medical condition. He loved teaching others his appreciation and skill of the beautiful game of “Fútbol.”  

We ask you help our family not only with mourning his loss but aid us with your kind donation to give him a dignified resting place. He was our main support, and now we have to go forward without him, but with you at our side and Our Lord Jesus Christ lighting the way it will be less challenging.
