Dear Friends and Fellow IOPers,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lauren Adler’s daughter, Mackenzie. It is hard to imagine a world without Mackenzie in it. In fact, Lauren and Keith are donating Mackenzie's organs to help spare potentially many families from having to endure their unfathomable grief. Mackenzie will live on in others as surely as she will remain in our hearts forever.
Mackenzie was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy in June and, with the exception of one week during that time, remained hospitalized. As they prepare her for organ donation, Lauren remains with her still.
Many of us have fond memories of Lauren and Mackenzie in the office and their family at the picnic and annual Santa visits. The love between Lauren, Keith, Elliot and Mackenzie was always present.
In an effort to support Lauren’s family, a gofundme account has been established where we can voluntarily donate to help offset expenses during their time of grief. Caring for others is a legacy of our culture and is the core of what it means to be a member of the IOP family. Thank you for your consideration.
