Our nightmare began on August 2018. My mother had a severe episode of gout on her left foot that left her unable to walk and work. Ever since then she has had many medical issues as a results of a grave misdiagnosis and all the medications she was prescribed. The most recent medical episode we are dealing with is a possible bleeding ulcer in her stomach that causes her immense pain and she is unable to walk or move. She is due for a endoscopy and colonoscopy this coming Monday February 25, 2019 which will be a total of 2,000.

This is where I’m pleading for your help, I have been footing the bill and paying out of pocket ever since August 2018 . The thing is my mother has no insurance. She applied for Medicaid and was told she is too young and doesn’t have any young children therefore she didn’t qualify, and was turned away from purchasing insurance because she doesn’t work. I am tirelessly working to add her on my Military insurance but it’s a long process since parents don’t receive the same rights as spouses and children and it could be months from now until they answer us back. But her health and state of well being can not wait. I am financially tapped out and I am at my wits end trying to make sure my mother receives the correct care without insurance. I need help paying for her procedures on Monday and for any future medications and possible therapy she might have to undergo. Any amount helps. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
