Laura Fiorica Padula
Don protégé
On Saturday, February 27th Laura passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The world lost a wonderful woman. Laura was a faithful wife , a selfless mother, a compassionate daughter, wonderful sister and aunt , a devoted grandmother and a most loyal friend.
If there was one thing that Laura always made known it was how much she loved and adored her family. Steve, Samantha and Steven were the greatest blessing of her life. She was proud of anything an everything they did & made sure the world always knew how special they were to her and how proud they made her. She loved Rich and Sarah like they were her own, but her greatest pride came in life came with being a grandmother. Julianna was her world and she was overjoyed to become a grandma again in May. She could not wait to meet her son’s child. Laura made sure those she cared for knew how she felt about them. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for her family and the bond they shared can never be broken. Because even though she is not physically here, her heart will live on inside her family who loved her the most.
Things like this reminds us not to miss the moments. Laura enjoyed life. She enjoyed tropical vacations, the Poconos, a good cocktail, selfies, party planning, a good sassy Facebook meme, a clean house, holidays with siblings and in-laws and time with friends who became her family.
Sometimes in life there are losses that can never really be replaced. Laura will forever be irreplaceable and will be missed beyond words. No one was ready to say goodbye and her absence will leave a whole in the hearts of all who knew her.
Anyone who knew Laura knows that she had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. Help us celebrate the life, love and memories we all shared by giving her the proper goodbye with the funeral service she deserves.
