Laura Bayer's MCL Treatment Fund
Spende geschützt
On February 21, 2020 my Mom, Laura, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma, an aggressive, rare form of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
She began chemotherapy in March and as of today (5/10/20) she has 3 more months to go, but the medical bills are already starting to pile up. And once the chemotherapy is done, she will have to travel to UC Davis where she will stay in a hospital for a month to get a Stem Cell Transplant that will hopefully buy her at least another 10 years.
Laura is retired and is on a fixed income, and is making sacrifices to set up payment plans with the doctors and drug companies for this expensive treatment. So far, her out-of-pocket expenses are already over $11,000.
I can't believe that we have to resort to this, and I know there is a lot going on right now in everyone's life with the global Covid-19 pandemic, but anything will help as we really don't know the full extent of how expensive this treatment will be.
Thank you
