Laura Alice Rodriguez-Vega August 16th, 1977 - February 5th, 2021 - Raising money to finalize her expenses.
Laura left us far to early and like many of us, she was going through a difficult and ultimately overwhelming time. With the loss of Laura's income and no other financial alternative in place for her family, we are requesting donations towards Laura's final expenses. All remain funds will go towards her Son Brendon Xander and Daughter Christina Elisa's college funds.

Laura Alice Rodriguez-Vega, age 43, of Elgin, passed away on February 5, 2021. She was born August 16, 1977 in Chicago, IL to her loving parents, Guadalupe and Ruth Rodriguez (née Sosa).
It was love at first sight when Laura met her husband, Faustino, in Cicero. They were married for 17 years and had two children.
Laura was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She was a homemaker who loved to cook amazing dishes for her family. She will be dearly missed by her husband and children.
Laura had a fabulous sense of humor, and she could sell anything. Loved ones will remember how fiercely loyal she was to her family and that she would protect those she loved.
Laura is survived by her husband, Faustino Vega; children, Christina Elisa Rodriguez and Brendon Xander Vega; parents, Guadalupe and Ruth Rodriguez; siblings, Carmen E. Olaez, Maria Christina Aragon, and Steven G. Rodriguez; and nieces and nephews, Jorge Uribe, Jade Villa, Kaylee Rodriguez, and Steven E. Rodriguez, Jr.
Memorial will be 10:00 am until funeral service at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Mourners are encouraged to review the funeral home COVID-19 public health policies ahead of time. Face masks are required to enter the facility.
