The Independent Venue Preservation Initiative has broken ground on the Subscribe To Live bill payment program by paying our first large bills!
Thanks to our Patreon members, independent live venues in San Francisco are experiencing one more financial relief option as they navigate through COVID recovery. But we aren't done raising awareness on the continued need to help our venues through this time of need. We have received several large bills that exceeded our Patreon funds and we'd like to make sure no bill is left unpaid.
That's why we are putting out the call to action this month to raise $29,830 to cover the remaining amount. 100% of donations go directly to pay a bill for a venue in need. And all amounts are greatly appreciated.

OUR PLAN
IVPI has launched a Patreon to allow the community to contribute a small monthly dollar amount ($15) that goes directly to pay an essential expense of a local live performance space.
Next, the venue in need gets registered in our system as a qualifying venue and once approved, can then upload the bill they wish to be considered for payment.
The IVPI Review Team comprised of industry professionals, financial experts and program directors will then review the bill and grant or deny the request based on our ESSENTIAL ITEM LIST.
Once approved, IVPI sends the bill collector a payment on behalf of the Venue and IVPI receives PROOF OF PAYMENT, which IVPI sends to the venue for their records. Alleviating the business in need of the financial hardship.
Our goal is to target rent/mortgage payments, liability insurance, utilities, and any essential expenses that puts businesses in risk of closing permanently on a monthly, individual basis.
We accept bill pay requests dating back from from February 2020 and until our venues no longer need our help.
The initial and ongoing support of our Patreon Members is critical for our program to succeed.
Which is why we selected to partner with Patreon, a platform that allows for an easy, transparent and fun way to achieve this goal.
